Whilst we are still working on our current DarkRP servers, we're looking to expand due to us having the ability to host multiple servers. That'll mean a higher coverage within games, and more importantly, make ourselves more known.

Of course, all this will happen in due time, however, I'm personally starting to look at other games or game modes. If this were to happen, this would occur once we're happy with the current state of our DarkRP services.

Here are the current options I have in mind,

Garry's Mod
We're all familiar with Garry's Mod here, and we all know how to play it. We've got many options we can take, for example going over to minigames, like TTT, Murder, Deathrun or Prophunt, or, we could go for a more familiar approach and go for another gamemode. Be it our old CityRP servers or something like PoliceRP, MilitaryRP, I mean christ even Auschwitz RP. Whatever you want, we can try to deliver.

Minecraft
We've all been to Minecraft. As it's starting to gain popularity again, I feel it'd be a good move to invest time into a Minecraft Server. Whilst I'd personally prefer to go to a Modded Server, I'd be happy to host a bungee network with multiple minigames or gamemodes.

FiveM
FiveM is a GTA V expansion that allows players to go on a Roleplay Server that's completely secluded from GTA V. This is more for the serious type of roleplayers, and this would take a lot of time as whilst we have good Lua coders, we lack the knowledge of how FiveM does things.

Rust
Rust is an open-world survival that you can build, fight and raid to survive. Of course, this one is a fun one however also difficult. I'd be happy to host a vanilla or modded server.

And of course, any other games, feel free to comment down below. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Well, I would prefer staying on gmod trying CityRP and if it doesnt get populated then change the gamemode to another kind of RP. Other than that Rust and FiveM would be good but definitely not Minecraft.

The only issue is with the CityRP, is that there a lot of contesters and we usually get hit hard with accusations. If we can ensure we have an active player base there I'm happy to bring back our game mode, however, it's a huge gamble.

No risk, no gain. If you guys work hard enough to improve the gamemode and ensure that it can be a strong opponent to others before realeasing it (also it needs a bit of well advertisement) then you can success. In my opinion CityRP is the best option if you want to run a RP community. Also can't you just close the server down for a while and change the gamemode to Military, Police or some kind of RP? Why would it be a huge gamble?

Of course I can always change it, however, the reason it's a gamble is due to a large amount of effort we put into the game mode. A lot of people dislike it, and because it's a game mode that's different to DarkRP, players heavily dislike it. I personally would love to run CityRP, but I've tried many times now and people just didn't connect. If that were to change, I would more than happily give it another shot

- @Adam James, @Slowkiller965 and @Dusttiiii would be able to confirm this as they have been there every time

I can understand you better now, I dont have anything to say on this. But my vote still stands for CityRP tho, if we could make it out it would be great.

CityRP wouldn't work. The other two major cityrp servers have full development teams, along with a playerbase thats been active for years. I leave in literally a month and a half for Basic Combat Training and AIT, and Zambie cannot handle both of the servers development on his own. Whilst I've been trying to find developers, my attempts have been less than successful.

Right, but in order to do this, we'd literally need a team. I spent over half a year improving the gamemode, along with some other fine people in Adrenaline, and we made it no where near "good", as its old, and honestly its a straight up mess. It was made a different version of GMod, so the gLua library functions aren't the same as before, forcing us to convert a shit ton of old code to the newer standards, which also causes efficiency issues. Our other competitors have the advantage of having multiple teams who've pretty much redone the entire gamemode. So unless we can find a team thats willing to pretty much recode the entire thing for free (which wont happen, gamemodes of this size cost in the thousands to make), it probably wont happen, especially we'd be considered "copy cats"

Though I do agree with you, I would love to see it back again, it's just not in our cards at the moment.
