While it is nice to have them, bandages are severely overpowered for all sources. I think they should only be usable by EMS and EMS should be using them to heal other people.

Also while any EMS is on duty, medkits turning off would be nice. It would also give a reason to go to the illegal doctors. As of now, when we find them we are always like, "eh."
However, turning medkits off would require a few things... Being able to carry dead bodies and illegal doctors/legal doctors heal from dead. I don't know if they heal from dead or not, but it would definitely be required.

Speaking of EMS... It would be nice if grabbing bandages from the locker would give 25 at a time instead of 1, so spamming wouldn't be necessary.

Rather than turning bandages into ems only how about making bandages more expensive, reducing the amount of health they give and making it a heal over time *after* having to wait for a progress bar upon use.

Until there's a more in-depth nuanced health system where you would need multiple things to remain on your feet whilst injured (something to stop bleeding > something to heal up > deal with side effects from one, the other, or both) limiting an individuals options to heal themselves puts them in a position where they might have to wait around for someone who probably isn't even online, and even if they are online an interaction that will be limited in it's scope due to what's required of that person in said profession, which is usually initial treatment and then transport to pillbox where they press E next to an NPC, which is what the police already do.

I don't want it to seem like I'm diminishing the potential in medical RP and I don't want people to think that the role is unimportant, but removing the ability to use bandages brings up some questions about it. Doctors and Nurses provide a medical service that isn't already provided via initial treatment that the police are able to provide (assuming the police officer is medically trained) so maybe that's the direction they oughta go. But lemme use my bandages ;-;

I'm pretty sure medkits are turned off already if there's EMS present, we tried to medkit people up when there was EMS and it wouldn't let us. I personally wouldn't be opposed to medkits being removed entirely and instead replaced with an escort > put in vehicle/take out of vehicle menu that would be available to everyone, just in case there are no police online to deal with the injured individual(s) and then taken to pillbox, or in the event that criminals need to put their boys in a car to get to a hoodoo doctor.

Also, I'm pretty sure police get bandages in counts of 5 so idk why EMS only get them 1 at a time

medkits are turned off if there are 3 EMS on duty. Honestly there is no reason to ever go to a hospital atm.

Police can grab however many they need, but EMS has to spam enter for each one. It's okay in the meantime.

Well, we couldn't pick people up with medkits with only 1 on duty so maybe it was scuffed.

I can confirm medkits are turned off once there is any EMS on-duty. Local Doctors are turned off when there are 3 or more EMS on duty.

I was told someone did once when I was on duty. I could have been misinformed or instanced.
